ALICEhelps was created especially for anyone who worries about:
- Feeling like a problem, rather than a person, when seen by doctors and medical teams
- Disconnected and complex healthcare records—none of which are in the patient’s control or easily shared
- How to get support—rides, encouragement, meals, financial help, prayer, legal advice, companionship—when everyone is busy, far away, or under quarantine
This might be you if you are one of the 52 million Americans over age 65, 51 million diagnosed with mental health issues, 20 million long-term care recipients, or 32 million family caregivers.
You will be able to access ALICEhelps as an individual subscriber, or you might receive it as a benefit from an employer, medical group, care facility, or member organization. (Read more about how ALICEhelps benefits healthcare providers, employers, and other institutions.)
We’re looking for adult caregivers and care recipients to participate in our pilot program in late 2021. To join our pilot program and/or receive our email updates, please join the waitlist. We’re excited to share our vision for developing stronger, more effective caregiving connections with you.
What is ALICEhelps?
ALICEhelps is a software platform that helps individuals and their loved ones request and receive better care from clinicians and a community of caregivers. Users create care communities in a private, secure website that can be accessed from any computer, tablet, or smartphone with an internet connection.
What does the software cost?
ALICE Helps is available for a subscription fee because we do not accept ads, your personal information is confidential within your community, and your community is completely private.
The pilot program will be offered free to all subscribers for 90 days. After this time, pilot program participants will have a discounted subscription fee of $1 per month. Those who take part in the pilot will have the opportunity to provide feedback on ALICEhelps and its value to users. To participate, join our waitlist.
Individual subscribers can invite caregivers—your family and friends—into your community at no cost to anyone, ever. In addition to individual subscriptions, access to ALICEhelps may be provided as a benefit from an employer, medical group, care facility, or member organization.
After the pilot program, the monthly cost of the individual subscription is expected to be less than that of your favorite video streaming service.
What will you do with my personal information?
At ALICE Health, we are committed to never selling customer data, nor will we use it in any way that is not expressly approved by our subscribers. Our patent-pending, HIPAA-compliant technology ensures your content is only accessible by those with whom you choose to share.
Your data remains confidential and owned by you, at all times. In fact, that’s why you’ll pay a subscription fee to use ALICEhelps—paying to use our service means we don’t have to find other ways to keep the system running (such as selling your data, prioritizing paid content, or pushing irrelevant ads).
